Renee Jakaitis Trafton (’07) lives in Sitka, Alaska. After graduating from Oberlin, she has been cooking professionally. She has worked in Boulder, Ithaca, New York City, and now Sitka, AK. She worked at two different Michelin-starred restaurants in both the front and back of house. She is a strong, independent worker with a passion for consistent excellence who incorporates organization, cleanliness, creativity, efficiency, communication, and drive into her work.
