Remington (“Remi”) Schneider was born and raised in the Seattle area. He is currently a fourth-year neuroscience major at Oberlin College planning to graduate in May 2015. Remi is a born leader. In addition to working as an administrative member for the developing Oberlin Peer Support Center, Remi has experience teaching English in Bangkok, leading workshops in calculus and introductory neuroscience, and mentoring inner city eighth graders before they enter high school. He is an outdoor enthusiast, drawn to backpacking in the mountains and rafting down whitewater rivers. When he’s not adventuring in the open air, Remi can be seen reading in a cozy chair and sipping on a hot latte.
