Michael was born in New Orleans and raised in Chicago. He attended UNC-Chapel Hill where he studied History and Social Entrepreneurship. Prior to co-founding Soundbeams Creative (SBC) and working on Greenstart, he worked in a number of marketing, grant writing and program development capacities for educational institutions, NGOs & nonprofits, including Global Scholars Academy (Durham, NC) where SBC is working closely with the school’s co-founder and board chairman to design an entrepreneurial curriculum and build public-private partnerships to scale community impact.
