Biography

Gabe Friedin, co-COO of the Allen All-In Initiative as a freshman at Oberlin College, is from Montclair, New Jersey. He has always been interested in the accessibility rights movement and is eager to contribute to the cause starting with the Oberlin campus at the Allen Memorial Art Museum. He attended the first-year seminar, Disability, offered by Professor Elizabeth Hamilton, Oberlin’s section 504 coordinator. Gabe spent his first winter term exploring and researching the issue of accessibility in metropolitan museums in the New York area, with advisement from Professor Hamilton. At Oberlin College, Gabe is also an active member of OSCA as head chef.
