Finn Kuusisto graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in 2007, majoring in Computer Science and Classics. He received a PhD in Computer Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2015, doing research on machine learning. His thesis work focused primarily on breast cancer prediction applications related to overdiagnosis, estimation of individualized treatment effects, and precision medicine in general. He now works in the Regenerative Biology Lab at the Morgridge Institute for Research in Madison. Finn has long maintained an interest in entrepreneurship, and built a web application for runners, Pickup Running, while in graduate school. Remugio is his second startup.
