Co-Founder Real Boy Digital
Devin Frenze is a fifth year double-degree student with a computer science major in Oberlin College, and a composition major with a TIMARA (Technology in Music and Related Arts) minor in Oberlin Conservatory. Devin’s music and video art utilize computers implemented in real-time to synthesize, distort, and modulate sounds and images through randomized and algorithmic processes. Devin’s work also puts humans and computers in dialogue with one another as it hinges on human performance and improvisation in addition to computer processes.
Devin cofounded Real Boy Digital in the spring of 2013. He completed a January composition residency at the Banff Centre for the Arts in Alberta, Canada in January 2013. Devin is a National Merit Scholar from Bucks County, Pennsylvania. See devinfrenze.net for the latest projects and event dates.
