The summer 2019 renter’s housing application is available beginning Monday, April 8 through 5 p.m., Friday, April 19.

Only those students who are approved to be working with an approved department on campus may apply. Once a department has approved your work/research, you will be placed on the wait-list for summer housing. Placement will be first come, first served.

Summer 2019 Housing will be available for renters from 9 a.m. on Tuesday, May 28 through noon on Wednesday, July 31 in Johnson House. There will be no exceptions for renting outside of these dates.

Step 1 
Be in touch with your sponsoring department and make sure you are approved to be a summer worker/researcher. Departments must submit your approval to ResEd by 5 p.m., Friday, April 19.

Step 2 
Log into your account to submit your Summer 2019 Housing Application  by 5 p.m., Friday, April 19.

Step 3 
Sign your leasing agreement.

Please Note: You will receive an email giving instructions on how to set this up.

Notifications of summer housing approval will be sent out via email on Monday, May 6. 

Payments must be made by check or money order, payable to Oberlin College and submitted to Student Accounts.

Payment Information

Full payment for total summer housing is due upon move in, with the exception of students sponsored by departments. Keys will not be given until the total payment is received by the Office of Student Accounts, receipt is submitted to ResEd, and signed housing leasing agreement is on file.

Please Note: Departments that are paying for summer 2019 housing will be billed for full payment by June 3, 2019.
