Both grants are available for remote opportunities only. Students are encouraged to design projects that they can complete entirely from their place of residence while adhering to all applicable laws and health department guidance, without placing themselves or others in harm's way.
The XARTS Fund supports the development and execution of collaborative, multi-disciplinary, artistic projects and is open to students in both the College of Arts & Sciences and the Conservatory of Music as long as you are not enrolled in Oberlin's summer term.
The FIGs grant supports innovative projects from Conservatory, Musical Studies, and Double degree students to take place during the Winter Term period.
Come to the virtual info session to learn more about the application process and updates for our 2021 granting period. During this session, students will have the opportunity to speak with Dana Jessen, the conservatory director of professional development, and ask questions about the grants and application process.
