The Value of the Oberlin Artistic Experience: Our esteemed panel of Oberlin theater alumni share how the Oberlin education and artistic experiences helped them navigate through their careers— center stage, back stage and alternative stages!

Network, learn, and gain valuable advice on how to navigate through the arts and entertainment industry. Hear about the decisions that led to pursuing other career paths and how their Oberlin experience gave them a differentiated value to pursue their passions and be successful.

Participants will include Mitch Weiss ’74, director/theatrical manager/talent manager/author; Kelly AuCoin ’90, actor; Carolyn Hall ’91, modern dancer/marine specialist; Justin Emeka ’95, Oberlin College associate professor/actor/director/author; and Christine Duque ’01, global marketing strategist/NY Alumni Club president; Gabriela Trigo '07, actor/visiting Oberlin College instructor.
