The competition jury members are Lydia Artymiw and Craig Sheppard.

The pianists are competing for prizes—the Takács/Beethoven Prize, ($5000), the Leon Fleisher Prize ($1500), the Howard Karp '51 Prize ($1000), and a finalist prize ($500/each).
