Please join the art department for a lecture with artist Kyle Adam Kalev Peets.
Kyle is an artist and educator currently teaching Printmaking at Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. He received an MFA in printmaking and sculpture from the University of Iowa, as well as a graduate certificate in book arts from the Iowa Center for the Book.
Kyle’s work is informed by humor, mischief, and the unknown—taking form as prints, books, sculpture, and poetry. His visual work has been shown internationally and his poetry has been published in journals like Noc and lnterrupture. He loves basketball and had major hoop dreams as a kid and still has dreams that he can dunk a basketball, like really easily, just floating gracefully through the air.
This event is presented with support from the Ellen H. Johnson Endowment for Contemporary Art.
