TLDR: Learn How to Get Paid to do Research

Are you seeking a paid research experience? Would you like to learn best practices from other students and faculty who have experience snagging research opportunities? If you answered "yes" to those questions, then Roadmap to Research is for you!

The Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) and the Center for Learning, Education, and Research (CLEAR) in the Sciences are sponsoring an event series called Roadmap to Research. In this two-part series, we will help students to understand the process of finding, applying to, and securing paid research positions on and off campus.

Event Details: Finding Opportunities and Standing Out in the Crowd

Come hear from a panel students about how they conducted funded research, including strategies for contacting individuals both on and off campus to find research opportunities, and presenting yourself in the best way possible to get their attention.

Breakout sessions with faculty, staff, and research students—where you can get your questions answered—will follow the panel.

To secure your place at the event, please RSVP and tell your friends!
