Lecture by Dr. Lawrence Kritzman, Edward Tuck Professor of French, Darmouth College.

In December of 1941, fifteen-year old Dora Bruder, the daughter of Jewish immigrants from Austria, never returned home from school in Nazi-occupied Paris.  Decades later, Nobel prize winning French author Patrick Modiano went looking for Dora, resurrecting a forgotten city of fear and trauma his own family lived through.
