Ken Wong, Founder and Director of F2F stands with microphone in hand.

Speaker Ken Wong is founder and director the Face-to-Face Project (F2F), a U.S. nonprofit in Malawi and Cambodia, that helps the most impoverished communities break the cycle of hunger and extreme poverty.

F2F began in 2003 as a Harvard Medical School initiative to document the AIDS pandemic in South Africa. F2F’s dramatically successful victory garden program combines AIDS awareness with food access.

By allowing families to grow a year-round, steady supply of food by the house at no cost to them, F2F is making significant gains in the fight against hunger, malnutrion, and poverty.
