Join the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) team for a report and listening session on the ongoing projects of Oberlin’s HHMI Inclusive Excellence Grant.
Data regarding disparities in persistence and retention in Oberlin’s STEM departments will be discussed, and students will have the opportunity to share their lived experiences in STEM to help the Oberlin community better understand the root of these disparities.
All students, faculty, and staff from all departments are welcomed and encouraged to attend. Trained facilitators will be in attendance to establish guidelines for an effective and constructive conversation.
