The Friends of the Oberlin College Libraries presents a virtual presentation by Erica Armstrong Dunbar, award-winning historian and author. Dunbar is the National Book Award finalist for Never Caught: The Washingtons’ Relentless Pursuit of Their Runaway Slave, Ona Judge.

She currently teaches at Rutgers University, where she is the Charles and Mary Beard Professor of History. Her presentation “The Long Arc of Social Justice Movements: Harriet Tubman and The Fight for Black Life” will focus on her most recent book She Came to Slay: The Life and Times of Harriet Tubman.
