Exhibitions highlight aspects of the museum’s history and donors, during a year-long celebration of its centennial. Significant works from the permanent collection on view include important alumni gifts of Japanese woodblock prints, works that celebrate professor (and the art rental program’s influential founder) Ellen Johnson, major donations of early modern art from Enid and Joseph Bissett, and many others.  Also featured is the recent acquisition of Flight into Egypt, an early 20th-century oil painting by Henry Ossawa Tanner (American, 1859-1937).
