Please join us for a celebratory opening of the month-long exhibit Courage and Compassion: Our Shared Story of the Japanese American World War II Experience. Created by the Go For Broke Foundation, and funded in part by a National Park Service grant, this travelling exhibit tells both the national story of Japanese American incarceration during World War II and the local story of Oberlin’s response to the discriminatory wartime policy.

The exhibit, housed at the Richard D. Baron ’64 Art Gallery, will be open to the public from 10am to 5pm, Saturdays, and from 12-5pm Sundays from February 17 to March 18.

The Friday opening reception is free and open to the public; refreshments will be served.
