The 9th annual Thomas & Evon Cooper International Competition runs July 14 through 20 at Oberlin Conservatory and Cleveland's Severance Hall.
This year, 31 young pianists from seven countries around the world vie for $40,000 in cash prizes and the chance to perform a complete concerto with The Cleveland Orchestra.
All rounds in Oberlin's Warner Concert Hall (July 14-19) are FREE and open to the public.
Semifinals Round I features 30-minute performances by each of the 31 pianists.
The three sessions begin at 9:30 AM, 2:00 PM, and 7:30 PM.
Concerto Finals with The Cleveland Orchestra are Friday, July 20, at Severance Hall.
