An Evening with Eboo Patel
Eboo Patel is the founder and president of Interfaith Youth Core (IFYC) and a member of President Barack Obama's inaugural Advisory Council on Faith-Based Neighborhood Partnerships. A frequent speaker and guest lecturer at colleges and universities across the United States, Patel holds a doctorate in the sociology of religion from Oxford University, where he studied on a Rhodes scholarship.
He is the author of Acts of Faith, which won the Louisville Grawemeyer Award in Religion, Sacred Ground, and the forthcoming Interfaith Leadership: A Primer. In 2009, he was named one of America’s Best Leaders by US News & World Report.
