The Mead-Swing Lecture features Rev. Dr. Cari Jackson, who will address how elected officials at all levels of government have felt emboldened in their power to disregard the separation of religion and state principle.

Much of the Christian-framed supremacy has been aimed at reproductive health, rights, and justice as the enemy of morality. Why have many Christian denominations that once supported reproductive rights now become complicit or silent in face of today's injustices?

Rev. Jackson is the executive for religious leadership and advocacy for the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice.

Sponsored by the Mead-Swing Lectureship Committee.
