Chanel Beads is the project of Shane Lavers, an established New York City based singer-songwriter, existing at the intersections of ambient electronic, sound collage, and pop music. In his new album “Your Day Will Come,” Lavers explores the strange infiniteness of the digital world, blending post-punk scrappiness, pop sentimentality, and the spectral artifice of electronic music. He blurs pop and experimental idioms, crafting a sonic world that is ghostly, transitory and timeless. Lavers will be joined by Maya McGrory on vocals and Zachary Paul on violin, with opener Kassie Krut, an alluring electro-indie rock musician from Philly.
