"Can corporate lawyers play a role in social justice?" a conversation with Marques P.D. Richeson, Esq.
Richeson maintains an active pro bono practice, representing nonprofit organizations, as well as business and trade associations. As part of his pro bono practice, Richeson, has filed amici curiae briefs in the U.S. Supreme Court and federal appellate courts and he has submitted comments on proposed legislation.
Richeson worked at an international law firm in Washington DC, where he was recognized by Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” among area litigators. Before that, he served as a law clerk for the Honorable Henry Coke Morgan Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
Richeson currently serves on the board of trustees for Cornucopia, Inc., an organization whose mission is to help individuals with disabilities develop skills and confidence, leading to sustainable employment. Richeson,also serves on the advisory board for the Cleveland High School for Digital Arts. He's been recognized by Crain's 40 under 40.
