The Bonner Center is hosting a series of facilitated Zoom conversations on Fridays during the lunch hour with regional community partners focused on considering pressing issues through a racial justice lens.
This is an opportunity to gain a deeper sense of the issues that are pressing in our community when meeting in person is not possible.
This week's speaker: Jeanine Donaldson ’75, executive director of the Elyria/Lorain YWCA. Jeanine is an Oberlin Conservatory graduate. The YWCA's mission is eliminating racism and empowering women and has, under Jeanine's leadership, organized the Community Anti-hate Taskforce and the Fair-minded Coalition, a group organized to rid the confederate flag from public spaces such as the county fair.
