Plants reduce carbon dioxide levels, as well as those of pollutants such as benzene and nitrogen dioxide. Not only that, the presence of plants leads to reduced stress and anxiety, and increases senses of calm, optimism, and control. They also ease feelings of depression, and promote well-being. Spending time in a natural environment can improve memory and attention span.
Sounds good, right?
