Disciplinary action against a responding party can only be taken through Formal Resolution procedures. Because the relationship of students, staff, and faculty to the college differ in nature, the procedures that apply to disciplinary action differ as well. Each of the procedures, is guided by the same principles of fairness and respect for all parties, and require notice, an equitable opportunity to be heard, and an equitable opportunity to respond to a report.

The specific procedures for Formal Resolution will vary based upon whether the responding party is a student, staff member, or faculty member.
