CarShare by Enterprise 
This program offers 24/7 access to hourly, daily, and overnight rentals. CarShare allows members to maintain the benefits of a personal car while only paying for the vehicle when it is being used. Car rentals start at $8 an hour. Fuel, basic physical damage to the vehicle and state-required liability protection are included in the standard rate plan.

Oberlin Classifieds
Try searching Oberlin Classifieds for students and community members who may be travelling into Cleveland, frequently offered for nominal fees (or trades). If you cannot find an offered ride, try posting a request for a ride or to borrow a car.

The Oberlin Sexual Information Center may be able to offer free rides to local sexual health clinics. To contact the SIC and request a ride:

Oberlin Connector Transit Service
Every Monday and Thursday, the city of Oberlin provides a demand-response transit service. The bus runs between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. (last pickup is 2:30 p.m.) to in-town destinations, and on Thursdays the bus will also make trips to Elyria or Lorain. The bus will depart Oberlin at 9 a.m. and at 1:30 p.m. The bus will make stops in Elyria on the first and third Thursday, and to Lorain on the second and fourth Thursday of every month. Call 800-406-7541 to schedule a ride.

Oberlin Community Service Gas Cards
Transportation assistance is available to low income Oberlin community members in the form of gas cards. Assistance is given to people with an appointment or interview that can be verified either by the client bringing in an appointment card or by providing a phone number of the destination.
