Sign up begins November 6 for the master ballroom and runway class with Twiggy Pucci Garçon that will take place on November 21, from 6:30-8:30pm in the Birenbaum. This class is limited to 50 Oberlin students and tickets will be distributed on a first come, first served basis. Heels are encouraged but not required. Sign up at go.oberlin.edu/Twiggy.
In the session on November 21, you will gain a historic context of the ballroom performance art subculture from the early 1900s through the present and get a HANDS ON RUNWAY WORKSHOP from the season 2 choreographer of Pose, Twiggy Pucci Garçon.
Twiggy (they/them or she/her) is currently senior program director of the True Colors Fund where they lead the Youth Collaboration and Technical Assistance programs, aimed at not only elevating the voices of young people with lived experience of homelessness but also creating a space for them to be centered in making decisions and solutions around the issue.
