I am originally from the Greater Cleveland area, where I went to college and graduate school before moving to Texas for my first job after school.  After being in Texas for about six years, I moved back to Northeast Ohio to work here at Oberlin. Since graduate school, I’ve found my professional niche combining my experience in public health and student affairs into college health promotion.

At Oberlin I spearhead health education and promotion efforts for the student body. The most immediate goal is to ensure that student well-being doesn’t get in the way of academic success. College is also the first time in life where Oberlin students have almost complete control of their health decisions. I strive to instill healthy behaviors to ensure that Oberlin students are advantageous, in their college years and beyond.

When I’m not at work, you could find me cheering on Cleveland sports teams, trying to find the next best restaurant, watching all the live music I can fit into my schedule, and spending time with friends and family.
