Darian Gray

  • Bonner Scholars Program Coordinator

Biography

Darian is a 2020 graduate of Oberlin College, where she earned a BA in biology and a minor in Africana studies. As a student, she worked as a resident assistant and a peer mentor, creating programming geared toward first-generation and low-income students. Her love for community engagement continued to grow as she worked with different community organizations, including spending most afternoons tutoring children at the Boys and Girls Club of Oberlin as a tutor with America Counts.

Darian was also a member of the Bonner Leadership Team, where she worked as the First-year Coordinator to support, mentor, and design programming for incoming Bonner Scholars.

Darian has returned to Oberlin as the Bonner Scholars Program Coordinator, where she continues to support student mentoring and programming. Being a Bonner Scholar was one of Darian’s most memorable experiences at Oberlin and she is excited to join the Bonner Center in this new capacity.
