Biography

Crystal Willer came to Oberlin in 2018 as the project archivist for music special collections at the Conservatory Library. Previously, she worked at the Wisconsin Historical Society, the University of Wisconsin-Madison's Special Collections, and the Robinson Map Library while earning her master's degree in library science. Other archival experience includes the Circus World Museum’s Robert L. Parkinson Library and Research Center in Baraboo, Wisconsin, and the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress.

Willer earned an MFA from Washington University in St. Louis, where she taught undergraduate poetry writing workshops and served as the Senior Fellow in Poetry (2013-14). Her work has been published in Spoon River Poetry Review, Territory, and the Columbia Poetry Review, among other publications.
