In addition to the $100 application fee, there is a $350 competition fee. This fee is included with housing fees below for those staying in a campus residence hall, and eating in the campus dining hall.

On-Campus Housing

Double and single residence hall rooms are available with a meal plan for all three meals. Rooms are air-conditioned and the community bathrooms include private shower and toilet stalls. The housing plan includes:

Thursday, July 16 arrival to Saturday, July 25 departure: 9 nights, and meals at the dining hall: Thursday, July 16 dinner through Saturday, July 25 breakfast. If you are arriving a day or two early, you are welcome to eat at the dining hall and pay-as-you-go with credit card. Please make sure that your credit card has been approved for use in the US.

Please note that all fees are nonrefundable. We are unable to grant partial reimbursement should you choose to depart before July 25.

Competitor’s on-campus room and meal charge includes competition fee:

Single Room ($1,080)
Double Room/Per Person ($1000/per person) — 2 people in one room, separate beds

Competitor and parent – dormitory and meal fees:

Parents or guardians accompanying a participant are also invited to stay in the dormitory in a private room ($720), or share a room with you ($650 per extra person). Everyone in the residence hall must also eat at the dining hall. For example, if a parent and competitor are sharing a room in the dormitory, the total cost is: $1,650. If the parent and the competitor each have single rooms, the cost is: $1,800.

You are welcome to arrive a day or two early. Cost per night, per person is $40. Before dinner on Thursday, July 16 and after breakfast on Saturday, July 25, meals are on your own. You may purchase separate meal tickets at the dining hall or enjoy a meal at one of the many restaurants in town.
