Maggie Crain

Maggie (she/her) is a rising fourth-year Neuroscience major and English Major from Louisville, KY. She serves as a Senior Fellow in the Office of Admissions, where she has previously worked as tour guide.

Maggie is a PRSM trainer (Preventing and Responding to Sexual Misconduct), where she works for the Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion to develop workshops for incoming students on consent, boundaries and harm reduction. She also is involved in Tank Co-op, where she has held the position of Tasty Things Maker. Maggie also works with America Reads, a program that works to improve literacy in elementary school students. She loves working in positions where she has the opportunity to teach and learn from her classmates and community members. 

Maggie chose Oberlin because of the passionate and motivated student body where students are constantly pushing themselves and the community to grow and improve. 
After graduating from Oberlin, she plans to work in education increasing access to resources in Appalachia.
