Kiki Widran
Kiki (she/her) is a fourth-year Law and Society and Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies double major with a Politics minor. She is from Los Angeles, California and this is her first year working for the Admissions Office as a Senior Admissions Fellow.
Kiki is a captain on the varsity volleyball team and has been a member all four years. She also works for the Title IX office as a PRSM (Preventing and Responding to Sexual Misconduct) Trainer, where she acts as an educator about consent and bystander awareness on Oberlin’s campus. She is passionate about community education and safety, and has sought out experiences in this field here at Oberlin.
After graduation, Kiki plans to attend law school, where she intends to focus on civil litigation and criminal law. Her goal is to eventually work with survivors of sexual and domestic violence, which will be aided by her current internship experience with a legal non-profit that focuses on these issues.
Kiki chose Oberlin for a multitude of reasons, the main ones being the close community, collaborative learning environment, and educational opportunities. She couldn't be happier with her decision!
