Juliet (she/her) is a fourth-year Politics major from Orange County, California. She has three minors in Environmental Studies, Law and Society, and East Asian Studies. She is serving as a Senior Fellow in her first year working for the Oberlin Admissions team.
In her time at Oberlin, Juliet has been a member of the varsity women’s lacrosse team all four years, playing low- attack. She has volunteered in the Oberlin community with her team through activities like Play like a Girl and has also volunteered in community work in her courses.
Juliet plans on attending law school after Oberlin. She hopes to pursue environmental law or to be a part of political campaigning, which she developed an interest in after interning at a private political research company last fall. Juliet spends her free time in Oberlin taking walks with friends by the creek, trying to cook new dinners, and reading books on political history or the classics.
Oberlin interested Juliet through its strong sense of community and the tight bonds between professors and students. She enjoys class discussions that challenge and engage the whole room, helping her grow as a student and person.
