Environmental studies major Antonia Offen (she/her) is from Norman, Oklahoma. She also is pursuing a minor in Middle East and North Africa studies.

Oberlin impressed her because of its strong Environmental Studies Program, wonderful music opportunities, and open-minded students.

Through her interests, she took three years of Arabic, and spent an incredible semester abroad in Jordan.

Her favorite on-campus activities are swing dancing and biking. Through biking, she’s learned all about fixing bikes. Swing dance offers her the chance meet Oberlin community members, and dance the night away on many a lovely evening.

In her job at the Admissions Office, Antonia is equally thrilled to speak to prospective students and their families. She wants to leave Oberlin knowing she was able to welcome everyone with some hot tea and a smile.
