Welcome to Oberlin! We're so glad you're here. To get started with technology at Oberlin, you'll want to begin by checking your shiny, new Oberlin email account. To learn how, click on the blue OCMail box below.

Technology Resources at Oberlin

In addition to OCMail and Internet access, the Center for Information Technology (CIT) provides lots of other technology resources. We have computer labs all over campus, audio-visual equipment available for checkout, and smart classrooms equipped with neat tools to change the way you learn. Get more information about the technology resources available by exploring the links below.

CIT Tech Support Portal

You can use the CIT Tech Support Portal to submit requests for help online and find both "how-to" and "fix-it" articles for common issues.

Audiovisual Services, a division of CIT, supports all of the smart classrooms on campus. They also have audio-visual equipment available that students can rent for use with academic projects.

OCTET is the Oberlin Center for Technologically Enhanced Teaching and is the equivalent of the Educational/Academic Technology division at other Colleges. We are a division of CIT and work closely with the Committee on Teaching, the Dean’s Office, Academic Departments and individual Faculty.
