Biography

My primary research and teaching interests are in areas of organizational networks, sustainable agriculture, ecological design, and evolutionary learning communities. At Oberlin, I teach the 100-level course on AgriFood Systems in Transition, and I also teach environmental studies courses at Hiram College and sustainable agriculture courses at the Lorain County Community College. I am an indie film-maker and attorney, and I serve as Chief Operating Officer of the nonprofit Center for Food Innovation at Oberlin.
