After graduating from Otterbein University in 2009 with a BA in mathematics and a BS in physics, Brandi served with Literacy*AmeriCorps in Dayton, Ohio, for two years. She developed a passion for working with youth while tutoring and mentoring at her Project READ service sites.

Upon graduating from Ohio University with an MS in mathematics, Brandi moved to Madison, Wisconsin, and began working with a College Access Program for high school juniors and seniors. 

At Oberlin, Brandi serves as the acting director of the Bonner Scholars Program. In her free time, she enjoys reading, recreational biking, hiking, and generally being outdoors.

Campus Compact names Iesha Phillips ’22 a Newman Civic Fellow

Iesha-LaShay Phillips, a third-year Africana studies and law and society double-major, has been awarded the Campus Compact 2021 Newman Civic Fellowship after being nominated through the Bonner Center for Community-Engaged Learning, Teaching, and Research.
