Ever since I learned about the Writing Center at Oberlin, I knew that I wanted to work as a writing associate.

Sometimes a classroom has tables, chairs, and whiteboards, and other times it has red paint, four wheels, and impressive horsepower.

At Oberlin College, we like to talk about the phenomenon of the “accidental minor.”

It took a fall afternoon and an impostor bumblebee to show me there’s more to campus than you might notice at first.

This year Oberlin couldn’t host All Roads. Instead, the college did something really clever, if I do say so myself.

While learning from home these past few months has been challenging, the invitation my teachers provided to think about the pandemic through so many different lenses has truly helped me make sense of what is going on in my own life and also the world.

I’m thinking of this as a time capsule.
