Oberlin Blogs

Indigo Gordon-Gatica ’28

My name is Indigo and I am a freshman from Brooklyn, New York. In all honesty, I have no idea what I’m going to major in, and while this is subject to change, I’m super interested in philosophy, politics, sociology, law, and international relations!

Outside of class, I am a complete extrovert, and love seeing friends and engaging in more social activities. While I have swapped out my high school Model UN for debate here at Oberlin, I’m always excited for a friendly argument. You can usually find me with friends, studying, or (most likely) playing with kittens during kitten open hours.

These blogs were so exciting for me to read as an incoming freshman, and I’m so excited to write posts for future freshmen, the Oberlin community as a whole, and most importantly for my mother who, upon stalking the blog more than me, suggested I apply as a writer.
