- BA, environmental studies and government, St. Lawrence University, 2014
- MEd, higher education, Harvard University Graduate School of Education, 2020
My interest in college admissions began during my time as a student Admissions Ambassador and summer intern at St. Lawrence University. Through these roles, I discovered my passion for working with students and families in the college search process. After graduating from St. Lawrence, I joined the admissions team at Rice University, where I spent five years working with students from around the world.
After leaving Rice, I spent a year studying at the Harvard University Graduate School of Education, where I recently completed a master’s in education degree. During my graduate school experience, I furthered my knowledge of critical issues in higher education, and remained active in college admissions through internship experiences.
Through my academic and professional experiences, I have seen the transformative power education can have on students’ lives. I also have a deep commitment to increasing student access, equity, inclusion, and success across higher education.
In thinking about what makes the Oberlin experience unique, the engaged liberal arts environment helps foster lifelong learning among students and alumni. Students, faculty, and staff are committed to making an impact, and there are so many ways to be engaged in the Oberlin community on and off campus.
I am excited to share the Oberlin story with you, and please don’t hesitate to reach out to me with any questions that arise during your college search.
