Held annually as part of New Student Orientation, the Day of Service is the first of many opportunities provided throughout the school year that links new students with local organizations in Oberlin. The day includes an orientation to Oberlin and greater Northeast Ohio, participation in a service project, and time to discuss future opportunities for community engagement.

Join us to get to know the local area, build relationships with classmates, meet returning student leaders, and engage with local community organizations.

If you did not preregister and you are interested in participating, please come to the Root Room in the Carnegie Building on Saturday, September 1. Walk-in registration opens at 9:15 a.m. on a first-come, first-served basis. The program begins at 10 a.m.

Students already registered should receive an email by August 14 with their site placement.
