Shuttles from the Airport
Major airlines serve Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. Shuttle service to and from the airport is available courtesy of U.S. Event Services for the weekend by advance reservation (very limited walk-on space available). Shuttle reservations can be made online . The shuttle times to and from the airport are listed on the reservation site once you select the number of people you want to make the reservation for. To make reservations over the phone, call the shuttle company directly at 1(800) 972-9940 and mention “Oberlin Commencement Shuttle.” You may make your payment over the phone with a credit card, and you will receive an email confirmation upon providing your email address. If you require a wheelchair lift, please call the shuttle company directly at the number above.
At the airport, customers should proceed to the baggage claim level. Then find the USTG/US event service representative at the Welcome Information Booth in the middle of baggage claim concourse at least 10-minutes prior to pick-up time.
In Oberlin, the shuttle arrives and departs from the shuttle stop in front of the Slow Train Café, located at 55 East College St., which is conveniently located in close proximity to both The Hotel at Oberlin and the Commencement/Reunion Welcome Center in the Ward Alumni Center (65 E. College Street, Suite 4). Please be at the pick-up location 10 minutes before departure. The trip to and from Oberlin is approximately 45 minutes. The fare for advance reservations is $32 one-way, per person or $58 round-trip, per person (via Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express only). Walk-up passengers will pay a one-way fare of $35 per person, cash or credit card. The last day to make a reservation is Wednesday, May 22, 2019 by midnight EDT.
Cancellation policy: Regardless of reason and/or cause, any service that is canceled prior to scheduled service date is subject to a minimum cancellation charge of $5.00 per airport transfer service. In addition, airport shuttle service that is canceled after midnight on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 is subject to a minimum cancellation charge of 100% of the total service cost.

Oberlin Switchboard allows users to ask for help or offer assistance. Use your trip as a mini-reunion and find other Oberlin alumni and friends in your region, while reducing the number of cars traveling to Oberlin in May.
Rent a bike from the Oberlin Bicycle Cooperative, located in the basement at the rear of Keep Cottage. You can rent bikes by the day or the weekend. The Bike Co-Op accepts cash or checks, but not credit cards. Locks will not be provided, so please bring your own lock from home. If you have any questions about the Co-Op’s Bike Rental program, send email to email@example.com.
While we do our best to accommodate the needs of returning alumni, there are very limited facilities for those with special needs such as private baths, wheelchair ramps, and accessible bathrooms. We recommend you consider reserving lodging in a local hotel or bed and breakfast.
Wheelchairs and a limited number of electric scooters will be available from the Commencement/Reunion Welcome Center for a flat weekend fee of $30 (wheelchair) or $50 (scooter). Please call the Office of Alumni Relations at (440) 775-8692 to make a reservation. A Visa or MasterCard is required when you call, but you will not be charged until the device is picked up. Wheelchairs must be returned by 1:30 p.m. on Monday, May 28, or you will be charged an additional $35 late fee.
An American Sign Language interpreter will be available during the Champagne Dinner for Alumni and Graduates, and Commencement exercises. Handicap-accessible seating will be available during Commencement exercises.
