College of Arts and Sciences
The Oberlin College of Arts and Sciences Admissions Office offers general information sessions led by an admissions counselor. Here you’ll get an overview of the college, the campus, financial aid, and the many academic and cultural opportunities that await you. We also offer 50-minute campus tours led by current students, who can give you an insider’s perspective of student life as you explore key places and spaces on campus.
Tours and information sessions are typically offered each weekday and on most Saturdays during the academic year. Please refer to the Admissions Calendar for availability and be sure to register in advance of your visit.
Conservatory of Music
The Oberlin Conservatory of Music Admissions Office offers an information session and tour twice a day on most weekdays. You’ll meet with an admissions officer to discuss general information about the conservatory, its programs, and admissions procedures. Following the session, you will take a tour of our facilities, including our practice rooms, recital halls, music library, and more. The information session and tour, together, generally last about an hour.
We discourage Conservatory visits during such periods as fall break, winter break, and spring break. We may offer reduced session times during these periods and students are not able to attend classes and will likely be unable to meet professors.
Use the link below to register for your visit. The registration form will allow you to select any tour, information session, or interview available on the date you've chosen.
Self-Guided Campus Tour
We accommodate special visit requests for high schools, community based organizations, college/guidance counselors, and other constituency groups throughout the year on a limited basis. A typical visit features a student-led tour and an admissions information session. Other activities may also be arranged on a case-by-case basis.
Reservations are required and one-month advance notice is recommended. Due to the large number of special groups that visit our campus, we are unable to provide transportation, housing, or food. If you are not a school/organization with high school aged students, please email firstname.lastname@example.org before requesting a visit.
- Group visits are only available on specific dates and times throughout the year and are limited to groups of 50 people or less.
- Requests for group visits should be submitted no less than one month prior to your intended visit date.
- Group visits are not available during the months of December, January, and April and during Oberlin's fall, winter, and spring breaks.
- Your visit is not confirmed until you receive an email notification that includes your visit date, time, and location.
