The Aaron Wildavsky Memorial
Prize - This Prize is awarded annually to the student(s)
who is/are designated by the Politics Department to be the
best graduating senior(s) specializing in American politics
and public policy. The Comfort Starr Prize - This Prize is
awarded by the Politics Department for excellence in college work in Politics. The John D. Lewis Memorial Prize - This
Prize is awarded to the outstanding student of Political Theory. The John
D. Lewis Memorial Prize was established in honor of longtime Oberlin faculty
member and political theorist John D. Lewis (1905-1988).Professor Lewis
graduated from Oberlin College in 1928 and returned in 1935 as a member
of the Department of Government faculty, where he remained until retirement
in 1972. |
