WebMD Personal Health Record Enhancement - What's New?
Beginning April 21, 2008, myCIGNA.com users with CIGNA medical and/or pharmacy coverage will have the ability to have their CIGNA medical and pharmacy claim data automatically imported directly into their PHR. This is in addition to the ability to import lab results (glucose, cholesterol and triglyceride tests) from select lab partners, a feature that has been in place since 2006.

CIGNA Care Connection (MedVantage cost and Quality Transparency)
The new CIGNA Care Connection allows members to walk through an entire episode of care, beginning with a symptom Checker. With just one search, members may search a new on-line provider directory with cost and quality information included in almost every search. There are enhanced search, sort, and comparison capabilities to explore possible causes of a specific symptom, or condition and get treatment options. Cost and quality information is available for primary care providers and 21 physician specialties, nationally.

Summary of total compensation and benefits

This summary provides your total compensation for fiscal year 2007, including the College costs for your benefits, your costs for your benefits, and a snapshot of your current salary and benefits as of September 1, 2007. Certain classes of employees have already received this information. For those who have not yet received their summaries, this will be mailed shortly.

HIPAA Health Care Release Form: If your child is 18 years old or older and on the Oberlin College Health Plan, you will need to submit this form to CIGNA to discuss their health care or claim information with Customer Service.

Dependents: It is your responsibility to inform us within 30 days of your child's 19th birthday, graduation from college and/or their 23rd birthday and when they are no longer a full-time student. If you do not, the College may not be able to offer COBRA coverage and you may be held responsible for all medical claims from the date the dependent would have been terminated from the health plan.
