Frances Welburn is a History teacher at Langston Middle School in Oberlin, Ohio. This is my first attempt at creating a link. Until a month ago, I had never"surfed"the web.

This is great!

I currently teach 8th Grade Social Studies with a focus on American History from 1877-present. Yesterday some of our students enjoyed "Teddy Roosevelt" with some residents of Kendal of Oberlin.

Our students also take enrichment classes that are taught across grades 6-8. We are working on a mock trial that deals with search and seizure protection of students'E-Mail accounts.

The Ohio Center of Law Related Education is a great resource for any law related materials.

I am part of a program financed by the National Endowment for the Humanities to help the Oberlin community(teachers, students, college) to bring the best resources and activities to our classrooms.
