Creativity is not developed in a vacuum. Students need opportunities to express themselves in more than one way. Developing the awareness of the multiple intelligences is empowering students to accept responsibility for the way they learn best.

The awareness and awakened acknowledgement of multiples intelligences will create success in individual lives.

Students are involved in integrated workshops. Each workshop includes structured writing styles, delivery, dramatic reenactment, and creative movement All workshops are taught with divergent and convergent methods that enable the learner to freely express knowledge acquired. I network with various artists that will enhance the curriculum.

Through a program titled "Learning Alive" I have created a multicultural program that provides the learner to research, create, and develop creative movement and expression of the theme introduced. Students become the authors and directors of their own innovative discoveries. "Learning Alive" has been in effect for 3 years. Students have produced the following productions:

Dysfunctions; The Resurgence of the Harlem Renaissance; The Vietnam War Experience; The Exploration and Discovery of the 20th Century Jewish Holocaust; Analysis of "What is Freedom" through "The I Dream A World Collection"

I am a participant in the Oberlin's EOG workshop.
