As head coach of both the men's and women's tennis teams, Don Hunsinger enters his 15th season with the men and his 7th season with the women. While at Oberlin, Hunsinger has served as director of athletics for five years and chairmen of the department for four. He also served as he head football coach for twelve seasons, head baseball coach for four, and assistant basketball coach for both the men (four seasons) and the women (two seasons). In 1989 Coach Hunsinger was named NCAC coach of the year for both men's and women's tennis and in 1997 he was named NCAC women's tennis coach of the year. Born in Boardman, Ohio, Hunsinger is a 1964 graduate of Muskingum College. He received his master's degree in education from Ohio University in 1966. In 1990 Hunsinger was elected to the Boardman High School Athletic Hall of Fame. |

Adam begins his third season as the men's assistant tennis coach and his second as the women's assistant coach. He is also currently working for the admissions office here at Oberlin. During his 1999 season, Coach Shoemaker was the men's assistant soccer coach. In addition, he was the Assistant Director and Camp Counselor for Nike Tennis Camp from 1993-1999 and was the head tennis coach of the men's and women's tennis teams at Lorain County Catholic High School. A 1996 graduate of Oberlin College, Adam played singles and doubles. Shoemaker majored in History and attended graduate school at Alabama State where he earned his Master's in American Studies. |

Coach Piron begins his 40th season coaching tennis at Oberlin. While at Oberlin, he has served twenty years as assistant coach and nineteen years as a head coach. The founder of the Oberlin Tennis Camp, Bob has been involved with the camp since its start in 1974. Bob is a full time professor in the economics department. |
